Art Coulter (b. May 31, 1909 in Winnipeg, Manitoba|Winnipeg, Manitoba - October 14, 2000) was a Canada|Canadian professional ice hockey Defenceman (ice hockey)|defenseman who played for the New York Rangers and Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League. Art helped the Blackhawks to the first Stanley Cup in 1934 and the Rangers to their last Cup until 1994 in 1940. He succeeded the great Bill Cook as captain of the Rangers in 1938. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1974.
