Arthur Farrel (February 8, 1877 in Montreal - February 7, 1909) was a Canada|Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played for the Montreal Shamrocks in the Canadian Amateur Hockey League. Arthur helped lead the Shamrocks to Stanley Cup victories on three occasions. He is also to write the first ever book on hockey titled Hockey - Canada's Royal Winter Game in 1899. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1965.
