Babe Dye (May 13, 1898 in Hamilton, Ontario - January 2, 1962) was a Canada|Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Blackhawks, Hamilton Tigers, and New York Americans in the National Hockey League. Babe is best known for his time with the Leafs. He led the Leafs to the 1922 Stanley Cup, scoring 9 goals in 5 games of the finals. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1970.
