Barbara Anderson (born 1926) is a New Zealand writer who has become internationally recognised despite only starting her writing career in her late fifties. Born in Hastings, New Zealand, she was educated at University of Otago|Otago University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science|BSc degree in 1947.
