William "Bill" Ray Engvall, Jr. (born 27 July1957 in Galveston, Texas|Galveston, Texas) is an United States of America|American comedian best known for his work as a stand-up comedy|stand-up, and as a member of the Blue Collar Comedy group. His most famous routine is "Here's Your Sign" in which he proposes hanging signs on people who say stupid and obvious things. He himself was "Signed" once when his son asked him to listen to him play a song from Harry Potter on a piano, to which Engvall replied "From the book?" It goes without saying that the Harry Potter books have no music.
