Carolina Kostner, (nickname: Caro), born 8 February 1987 in Bolzano-Bozen|Bolzano (Italy), is an Italian Figure skating|figure skater. Her best result in competition has been a bronze medal at the World Championships (in 2005). Kostner's mother Patrizia was a nationally ranked figure skater in the 1970s and her father Erwin played ice hockey on the National Italian team at the World Championships and Olympic Games.
