Cha Du-Ri (born 25 July 1980 in Frankfurt,
Germany|(West) Germany) is a South Korean 
football (soccer)|football player, who is also
known as the son of Cha Bum-Kun, frequently
regarded as one of the best Asian football players
of all time. The younger Cha was born in Germany
while his father was starring in the Bundesliga
(football)|German Bundesliga with Eintracht
Frankfurt, and spent his first few years in
Germany while his father was playing for Eintracht
and later for Bayer Leverkusen. 

He was a member of the South Korea national
football team|South Korea team that surprised the
football world by advancing to the semifinals of
the Wc|2002. He currently plays for one of his
father's old clubs, Eintracht Frankfurt.
