Dosso Dossi (c.1490 - 1542) fn|1, real name Giovanni di Niccolò de Luteri, was an Italian Renaissance|Italian High Renaissance painter and founder of the Ferrara school. He held the position of principal court artist to dukes Alphonso I of Ferrara|Alphonso I and Ercole II for 30 years.
