Doug Sanders (born 24 July 1933 in Cedartown, Georgia) is a famous professional golfer, who won 20 PGA Tour tournaments during his career. He currently resides in Houston, Texas. ==See also== *Golfers with most PGA Tour wins Doug Sanders is most notable for missing a 2 foot putt for the win on the 72nd hole in the 1970 Open Championship at St. Andrews, resulting in an 18 hole playoff with Jack Nicklaus the following day.
