Gil Morgan (b. September 25 1946, Wewoka, Oklahoma) is a professional golfer. ==Career outline== Morgan graduated from East Central State College in 1968 and gained a Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in 1972 before turning professional in that year. He won seven events on the PGA Tour between 1977 and 1990, the most prestigious of which was the 1978 World Series of Golf. He became eligible to play the Champions Tour in 1996, and has enjoyed considerably more success at that level than he did on the regular tour, with over 23 wins to his name as of May 2005. Three of his wins have come in senior majors, namely The Tradition in 1997 and 1998 and the Senior Players Championship, also in 1998. ==PGA Tour wins== *1977 B.C.
