Igor Volk, born April 12, 1937 in Gotwald, Kharkov Oblast, Ukraine|Ukrainian SSR, was a USSR cosmonaut. He was selected as a cosmonaut on July 30, 1980, flew as Research Cosmonaut on Soyuz T-12 and retired in 1996. Igor Volk is married and has two children. astronaut-stub
