Jessica Marie Alba (born April 28, 1981 in Pomona,
California, USA) is an American/Canadian/Mexican
model and actress.

Raised in a military family, Jessica grew up a
sports fanatic and terrorized her teachers and
grandparents alike with her rebellious behavior.
Her father\'s navy career took the Albas to
Biloxi, Mississippi, and Del Rio, Texas, before
they settled back in California.

Jessica Alba has been acting on screen for over 10
years, dating back to a small role as Gail in the
1994 Family Adventure Comedy feature Camp Nowhere
and extending to more recent gigs in her highly
popular, but nevertheless cancelled, Fox TV Sci-fi
series Dark Angel (2000-2002).

Her father is Mexican of Spanish and Native
American descent, her mother is of French Canadian
and Danish descent. She is a citizen of the United
States, Mexico, and Canada.
