Juliet Mills, born Juliet Maryon Mills on November 21, 1941, is a United Kingdom|British character actress, most famous for her roles on shows such as Nanny and the Professor and Passions. In both series, she plays characters who possess magical powers, but her character in the former series was presented as friendly and magical while the latter is a witch who wishes harm on many people. She is the daughter of actor John Mills and the older sister of actress Hayley Mills. Juliet married actor Maxwell Caulfield, who is 18 years her junior, in 1980. She has a daughter by a previous marriage. She won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Single Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Comedy or Drama Special in QB VII. She has received Golden Globe nominations in 1971 and 1973. In 2005, it has announced that Mills was nominated for her first Daytime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Lead Actress".
