Leo Dandurand (born July 9, 1889 in Bourbonnais, Illinois - June 26, 1964), was a owner in the National Hockey League. Leo purchased the Montreal Canadiens in 1921. He would own the team until 1947. In between, the Canadiens would win five Stanley Cups. He would help the team bring in Howie Morenz, Aurel Joliat, and Georges Vezina. After that team grew old in the 1930s, Leo would rebuild the team to further success with players like Maurice Richard, Bill Durnan, Toe Blake, and Elmer Lach.
