Biography of Les Charlots - Comedian
Biography
<
fr:Les Charlots Les Charlots are a troupe of France|French comedian actors, which was moderately popular in the 1970s. The name simply means the clowns rather than being a direct reference to Charlie Chaplin, who was generally called Charlot in France. The group was composed of Gérard Rinaldi, Jean Sarrus, Gérard Filipelli and Jean-Guy Fechner. When the four boys became too old to play the clowns, and audience became too bored with the so-called comique troupier that they proposed, they attempted a solo career. Gérard Rinaldi does pretty well, although he is essentually a Television|TV actor. Jean Sarrus became a TV host, but rather of the cable television caliber. The other two disappeared from the public eye.
