Lorraine Bracco (born October 2, 1954) is an United States|American actress who is best known for her role as Jennifer Melfi|Dr. Jennifer Melfi on the HBO television|TV series, The Sopranos. She has also appeared in a number of other films including Goodfellas (which netted her an Academy Award nomination for Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress|Best Supporting Actress), Radio Flyer (film)|Radio Flyer, The Basketball Diaries and Hackers (movie)|Hackers.
