Marion Bartoli born on October 2nd, 1984 is a
female professional tennis player born in Le Puy
en Velay, France. She now lives in Geneva in
Switzerland. She is currently ranked 43 in the
world in singles and 42 in doubles.
==Biography==
Marion Bartoli was introduced to tennis by her
father, Walter at the age of 6. She likes other
sports including jet skiing, volleyball and
basketball. Her hobbies include painting,
listening to music and going to the cinema. Tennis
players she most admires are Pete Sampras and
Monica Seles.
==Tennis career==
As a junior she won the junior US Open title in
2001 as well as the Australian Hardcourt
Championships and Victorian Championships in the
same year. As a senior, Marion Bartoli has not yet
won a Grand Slam singles titles, or a WTA Tour
Title, but she has won 2 WTA Tour Doubles
titles.She is the French Number 5, behind Amelie
Mauresmo, Mary Pierce, Nathalie Dechy and Tatiana
Golovin.
