Martha Hyer (born August 10, 1924, Fort Worth, Texas) is an United States|American actress. Her first movie role was at age 11 when she appeared in Thunder Mountain. After completing her education, she next appeared in The Locket in 1946. She has appeared in Sabrina 1954 in film|l954, Houseboat 1958 in film|l958, First Men in the Moon 1964 in film|1964, and Sons of Katie Elder 1965 in film|1965, among many others. Her most significant role was in Some Came Running' in 1958 in film|l958, for which she received an academy award nomination for "Best Supporting Actress". Her last film was Day of the Wolves in 1973.
