Rod Gilbert (born July 1, 1941 in Montreal, Quebec) was a Canada|Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played for the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League. Rod was a matinee idol for the Ranger crowd. He won the 1976 Bill Masterton Trophy. He also represented Canada at the Summit Series in 1972 and 1974.
