Siân Phillips, Order of the British Empire|CBE, is a British actress. She was born Jane Elizabeth Ailwên Phillips in Bettws, Carmarthenshire, Wales, on May 14, 1933. She married and divorced Peter O'Toole after having two daughters by him, and in 2001 she launched an autobiography revealing details of her tempestuous marriage to him. She has made many movies and TV programs, but is undoubtedly best remembered as the evil "Livia" on I, Claudius. In June 2000, she was awarded a Order of the British Empire|CBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list. She is also a leading light in Social, Welsh and Sexy (SWS), the London-based organisation for Welsh socialites.
