Stan Smith can also refer to the fictional character on American Dad|American Dad Stan Smith (born December 14 1946) is an American tennis player who, with his partner Bob Lutz (tennis player)|Bob Lutz, was one of the best doubles players of all time. Together they won many major titles all over the world. Smith was also an excellent singles player who won many titles including the Wimbledon Championships|Wimbledon championship once and the US Open (tennis)|United States Open championship twice. He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island|Newport, Rhode Island, in 1987. Following his playing career, Smith became active as a coach in the United States Tennis Association. ---- This is also a name of the protgonist in the animated series American Dad!
