Tempestt Bledsoe (born August 1, 1973) is an United States|American actor|actress who is best known for her role as Vanessa Huxtable in The Cosby Show. Since then, she has had a short-lived daytime talk show, The Tempestt Bledsoe Show, and has been featured in the role of a single mother on the American Broadcasting Company|ABC show The Practice.
