Willy van de Kerkhof (born September 16, 1951 in Helmond) is a former Netherlands|Dutch soccer|football player. Willy and his twin brother René van de Kerkhof|René were squad members of the Netherlands national football team|Dutch national team that made the World Cup final in Football World Cup 1974|1974 and became key players in the team that made Football World Cup 1978|1978 final. Overall, Willy was appeared 63 times for his country, scoring five goals. He was named by Pelé as one of the FIFA 100|top 125 greatest living footballers in March 2004. footybio-stub
